Description:

1) US Ames M1860 Cavalry Saber with Scabbard. "S.S. CONDIT" marked on the handguard, "AMES MFG. CO. CHICOPEE/MASS" and "US/A.D.K./1860" marked on the ricassos. OAL: 40 7/8" with a 34 3/4" blade. 2) German US M1840 style cavalry saber. WKC knight makers marking and "GERMANY" marked on the ricassos. OAL: 38" with a 32" blade.

Rating Definition:

1) Fair overall with grey patina throughout, dings on the cutting edge and spine. Grip leather is cracked. Scabbard has patches of oxidation throughout. 2) Fair overall, scattered patches of grey patina, and sharpening evidence. Wire wrap repaired. Scabbard has brown/grey patina and scattered spotting.
