"EP/crescent moon/Farsi numbers" (1913) on the lock plate. Brass plaque on the buttstock states "SNYDER BRITISH ENFIELD/CONVERTED FOR/ARAB REPUBLIC IN 1917/BY THE U.S.". Barrel has been bored out smooth.
