Both caps are green felt construction with separate "eagle" and "cockade" patches and twill cloth inner lining. One is unmarked with no additional decoration, the other bears a white waffenfarbe (infantry) triangle on the front and a faint Dresden maker's mark on the interior. The pouch is gray cloth with gray HBT straps and tabs, and no maker's marks. Provenance: The Putnam Green/Sycamore Collection
