Manufactured in 1926 and subsequently fitted with a shortened octagon rifle barrel. Blade and adjustable buckhorn sights, single barrel band, full length magazine, and saddle ring staple with ring on the left side of the receiver. Upper left barrel flat marked with the model, trademark and caliber information with the upper tang having the three line trademark information. Factory proof on the barrel and receiver with a circled factory replacement "P" proof also on the barrel. Smooth forearm and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate.

Fine as possibly factory assembled. The carbine retains 60% factory original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is very fine with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
