Manufactured in 1915. Period replacement blade front sight with a sporting type rear sight (elevator has been filed), with two line nickel steel marking and ".30GOVT.1903." on the left side of the tapered barrel. The left side of the receiver is stamped with the two line address/patent dates marking and the upper tang has the three line model/trademark information. Smooth straight grip stock with an ebony insert Schnabel tip on the forearm and crescent buttplate.

Very good. The rifle is mostly a mottled gray patina overall. There is some minor pitting (mostly on the right receiver side). The revarnished wood is good with extensive handling marks overall and patches of the finish remaining on the buttstock. Mechanically fine.
