Manufactured in 1875, this revolver features custom engraving, with a pin wheel and zigzag bordering on the barrel, dot and zigzag designs on the cylinder, simple line and dot designs on the back strap and floral scroll with zigzag bordering and simple dot designs on the frame. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line Hartford address and the left side of the frame is marked "22 CAL". Blade front and hammer notch rear sights, and fitted with two-piece smooth ivory grips.

Very good as partially cleaned. The revolver retains 40% of the original nickel finish, mainly on the frame and 30% on the cylinder, with a smooth artificial, once cleaned gray patina on the barrel. The exposed brass has an aged patina. There is some minor pitting on the cylinder and a few dents on top of the back strap. The grips are a bit undersized and are in good condition with a few minor age cracks, a couple minor nicks and beginning to take on a pleasant patina. The barrel latch is frozen, otherwise the action is fine. The markings and engraving are clear.
