Manufactured in 1885, with a single brass bead front sight, modified chokes, extractor and 2 1/2 inch chambers. Casehardened side lock action with "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co." on each lock plate. Checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with an inlaid ebony forearm tip, sling swivels, 14 inch length of pull and a smooth flat buttplate.

Good, showing 40% of the original twist brown Damascus finish on the barrels, with a fine Damascus pattern, and some scattered spotting and handling marks. The frame and locks have turned a mixed gray patina, with some pitting. Stock is good, with cracking at the wrist, light chips and scattered dents. Mechanically fine.
