This is an example of a late Winchester "brush up" of almost obsolete assembly's. The rifle has blade front and adjustable rear sights and a takedown frame. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Mounted on a smooth straight grip stock with a black checkered hard rubber factory buttplate and a 12 groove round forearm.

Excellent. The rifle retains 98% bright original blue finish showing some smooth brown patina on the magazine tube and some scattered mild handling marks. The wood is also excellent with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
