This is an example of a late production deluxe Third Model 90 Rifle. The rifle has beaded blade front and adjustable rear sights with a Lyman tang peep sight. The upper left barrel flat is marked with the Winchester legend followed by ".22 LONG RIFLE". The factory proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Matching serial number on the underside of the receiver and on the lower tang. It has a 12-groove round forearm and checkered straight grip stock with a crescent buttplate.

Very fine. The barrel and magazine retain 80% thinning original blue finish. The remaining metal surfaces retain 70% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The wood is also very fine with a number of minor pressure dents and scratches. There are some very scattered blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
