Manufactured in 1941 in 22 long rifle, a scarce caliber in Model 61 rifles. The upper right barrel flat has the two line address and the upper left flat has the Winchester legend with -.22 LONG R.-". The factory proof is stamped on top of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Smooth pistol grip stock with 17-groove flat bottom forearm and checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The barrel and magazine retain 85% plus original blue finish fading to a plum with extensive slide wear. The receiver retains 70% original blue finish with high edge wear and speckling of brown on the underside of receiver with light pitting present. The wood is very fine with most of the finish remaining and some minor pressure dents and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
