Manufactured in 1940 and subsequently beautifully custom engraved and gold inlaid. The receiver sides and top, forend cap and front of the trigger guard plate are engraved with a broad leaf scroll with gold inlaid wire bordering. In the center of the left side is an oval panel with gold inlaid wire border and a gold relief eagles head, and on the right side a gold relief fox head. The receiver and trigger guard also feature zigzag bordering. There are two gold bands around the breech end of the barrel, two around the muzzle and two around the barrel directly behind the rear sight. The trigger, cocking rod end, magazine tube handle and the takedown screw are gold, the bolt is bright and the remaining parts are blue. The sides of the trigger and side of the bolt have a zigzag border. The barrel has the standard markings, Winchester oval proof is marked on the top of the barrel and receiver at the breech and directly behind the rear sign is signed "Flannery Engr". Standard dovetail front sight and sporting type rear sight and mounted with high gloss checkered select walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with a steel buttplate, with the same engraving design and gold wire border.

Professionally refinished and embellished to near mint condition with a couple of light scratches on the stock.
