Manufactured 1896. Single bead front sight on a concaved solid rib marked with the one line Parker address and "DAMASCUS STEEL". 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked full/full, with an extractor. The water table is marked with the patent dates and "2/[serial number]/G". Lightly floral scroll engraved action with marsh game scenes, scallop bordering and marked "PARKER BROS" on the sides. Double triggers, automatic tang safety, and checkered pistol grip stock with hard rubber grip cap, blank initial shield and checkered Parker dog head hard rubber buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Very good. The barrels retains two thirds of the Damascus pattern with a smooth gray patina. The receiver retains strong traces of original case colors in the protected areas, otherwise faded to a gray. The refinished wood is fine with a hairline stress crack near the upper tang and some very scattered minor handing marks. The recut checkering is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
