Manufactured in 1883. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address, the left side has the etched panel "COLT D.A. 41", the left side of the frame is marked with the three line, three patent date marking and the left rear of the trigger guard is marked "41 CAL". The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. All nickel finish with niter blue screw heads, trigger and hammer, with polished sides. Blade front and frame notch rear sights and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top and matching serial number marked on the inside of the right panel.

Very fine. The revolver retains 75% plus original nickel finish with flaking on the muzzle and cylinder, and finish loss on the right front of the frame directly ahead of the cylinder. The grip straps are beginning to frost. Almost all of the original bright niter blue finish remains on the hammer and trigger. The grips are very fine with some minor high edge wear, some minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
