The upper barrel gauges at 44 caliber and the lower barrel 12 gauge. The top of the barrel is marked "REAL TWIST", with a Liege "ELG" proof on the left side of the shotgun barrel at the breech. There is a brass bead front and fixed iron rear sights. The lock plates are lightly scroll engraved. There is a wooden ramrod on each side of the barrels secured by three pipes. Mounted with a checkered straight grip stock with German silver grip extension trigger guard and crescent buttplate, with a large engraved eagle motif patch box.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrels retain traces of the damascus pattern with the balance a smooth brown patina showing some minor spotting. The locks and hammers have a smooth dark patina with some minor spotting. The German silver is good with exposed brass having an untouched patina. There is a crack present on the upper left side of the wrist, otherwise the stock is fine with some minor handling marks and scratches and a moderate small gouge in the otherwise crisp checkering. Left hammer needs work, right hammer functions properly. One of the ramrods has a masking tape and wire repair.
