Description:

This rifle has no maker markings. Equipped with fixed sights and double set triggers. The upper tang and breech plug have a light scroll engraving. The trigger guard, buttplate, patch box, and barrel wedge escutcheons are silver with a pewter forend tip. Initials are engraved on the patch box and the smooth half stock has an engraved German silver overlay on the underside of the forearm and left side of the buttstock.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel and action have a smooth dark patina with minor flash pitting and a few areas of minor spotting. The silver is fine. The stock is very fine with a few minor handling marks and a couple hairline cracks. Mechanically fine.
