This is an excellent example of a Webley & Scott Model WG Target revolver complete with factory oak case and accessories. The revolver has a high polish blue finish with bright hammer and trigger and two-piece, checkered walnut grips. The front sight has a nickel-silver blade and the target rear sight is drift adjustable for windage. The butt is fitted with a casehardened lanyard loop. The top of the barrel rib is roll-stamped: "ARMY & NAVY C.S.L.". The caliber, "450/455" is roll-stamped on the left side of the barrel lug. The left side of the frame is roll-stamped with "WEBLEY/PATENTS" followed by the "Winged Bullet/W&S" trademark. The serial number, "18043" is roll-stamped on the lower right side of the frame. The rear face of the cylinder is stamped with the caliber "455" and the partial serial number "043" between chambers. The oak case has a round brass escutcheon inlaid in the center of the lid. The lid is reinforced with brass screws. The case is lined with navy blue fabric and has six compartments including a thirty-round cartridge block. The case contains a bore brush and a steel cleaning rod with ebony head.

Excellent. The revolver retains 95% of the original high polish blue finish. The edges and contact points on the barrel and frame have a number of minor handling marks and scratches. The grips are in very fine condition with some scattered dents and scratches. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. The case is in very fine condition; the exterior has minor scratches and handling marks. The interior is in fine condition; the lining is worn on contact points and torn in several places. This is an excellent example of a factory cased, high quality Webley & Scott Model WG Target revolver.
