The solid rib is marked "AUGUSTE FRANCOTTE LIEGE". 2 3/4 inch chambers, choked modified/modified, and ejectors. The box lock action is border engraved and the fences have a scroll engraving. Equipped with double triggers and tang safety. Nicely figured checkered straight grip stock and serrated horn buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches. Comes with a takedown case featuring a Francotte label attached to the inside of the lid.

Very fine. The barrels retain 90% blue finish showing some heavy rust and spotting on the left barrel and rib. The receiver retains 97% original case colors. The stock is fine with a repair in the grip area, a few minor handling marks, and overall crisp checkering. Some rust on the forearm hardware.
