Manufactured in 1956, the introductory year for the Second Generation Single Action Army. Fixed blade front sight with single line address on top of barrel and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" along the left side. Vivid casehardened colors on frame with three patent dates (1871, 1872, and 1875) on left side next to the Rampant Colt. Assembly number "162" on loading gate and frame. Checkered black hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt logos, numbered "808". With a Colt black box, faintly numbered to another gun, with partial gold label and papers.

Excellent, with 99% of the original blue finish, showing some light handling marks. Case colors are bright and vivid. Grips are excellent replacements, with sharp checkering. Box is good, with the label torn, a separated lid corner and wear along the edges. Mechanically excellent.
