No maker markings but appears to be based on the Hill patent self extracting revolver with the unique spring loaded ejector. British proofs are present on the cylinder and barrel with the number "5" stamped on the left side of the frame. Fitted with checkered grips.

Very fine as period refinished. The revolver retains 80% high polished blue finish with the balance a smooth brown-gray patina. The grips are very fine with a few minor blemishes in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically fine.
