The left side of the scope is marked "Gw ZF 4", "dow" the code for Opticotechna, Czechoslovakia, triangle and "38837". Elevation knob on the right side graduated 1 to 8 with reproduction rubber sun shield on the objective end. With Nazi "eagle/359" proofed side rail mount, marked "8560" and correctly "lose" and "fest" marked locking lever.

Excellent. The scope retains 98% original phosphate finish with some edge wear and a few light scuffs and scratches. The rubber eye piece is excellent. The optics are just a bit hazy.
