Steel construction, with the distinctive stamped integral air vents and dark green external finish. A silver shield decal with black border and "SS" runes is present on the right side, with no decal on the left. Front of helmet is painted "HD", for the Holger Danske resistance. Interior is painted green, with correct brown leather liner (marked "55" and "RYKER/ NYGAARD"). "DN110" is stamped in the rear, and "Q62" on the left side. All rivets are tight and have not been removed.

Very good. Exterior paint has minor scuffing/scratches overall, with spots of oxidation. "HD" is flaking in areas. The SS decal is faded with age, with light scratches and some minor discoloration. Interior has some minor areas of oxidation. Liner is good, with heavy wear and discoloration/staining.
