This revolver was manufactured in 1950 and has standard Colt markings with the single line Hartford address on the right side of the barrel and "POLICE POSITIVE SPECIAL/.32 COLT N.P. CTG." on the left side. Features standard fixed sights, serrated trigger and hammer with polished sides, 6-shot cylinder, exposed ejector rod and brown mottled plastic grips with molded Rampant Colt logos at the tops. With this gun is an old cotton weave mailing bag with a sewn in tag which is marked "PGH POLICE/2 (circled) 22096/CRIME LAB/HATTIE HILL". We are not sure of the significance to the revolver, but it is included. Also includes the original brown hinged lid box numbered to the gun.

Near new having only a few scattered minor scratches and a faint turn line on the cylinder. Excellent original grips with some minor handling scratches. The box shows wear and handling with tape repairs to most of the corners, about half the label remains on the boxes end.

This revolver was manufactured in 1949 and is engraved along the top edge of the right side of the frame "WESTERN STATE PENITENTIARY/171". There is a hand painted "3" on the back of the frame below the hammer. Features standard fixed sights, serrated trigger and fine checkered hammer with polished sides, 6-shot cylinder, exposed ejector rod and brown mottled plastic grips with molded Rampant Colt logos at the top. Includes the original brown hinged lid box numbered to the gun.

Excellent 90% showing light scratches and sharp edge wear overall. The grips are very good having scattered light scratches and a small chip on the back edge of the right grip panel. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent having minor handling wear with an intact label.
