Manufactured circa 1950-57, this is an exceptional example of a Pre-Model 27. This gun has the standard S&W markings. It has the five screw frame with the Patridge target front sight and adjustable white outline target rear sitting on the finely checkered top strap and barrel rib, case hardened checkered hammer and serrated trigger, and is fitted with the original walnut checkered grips. Includes a fitted wooden display case with felt covered styrofoam interior, cleaning rod, bore brush, swab and screwdriver.

Excellent 98% original bright blued finish with some minor scratches, some very minor edge wear. The left grip panel has a hairline crack at the top, the right grip panel has a tiny chip at the toe. The display case is excellent with a few minor scratches and dings.

Standard S&W markings. Includes a wooden display case with plastic felt covered interior, papers, factory wax paper, cleaning rod, bore brush, swab and screw driver.

Excellent 99% original blue finish showing minor handling and scratches, with a light turn line on the cylinder. The grips are excellent showing some varnish loss. The display box is excellent with minor scratches and handling marks.
