This example was manufactured after 1957 with the three screw N frame. Ramped Patridge front and adjustable rear sights. The right side of the barrel is marked "45 CAL. MODEL 1955", standard markings on the right side of the frame. Built on square butt N target frame, with shrouded extractor rod, casehardened target hammer and target trigger. Fitted with target style S&W smooth grips with medallions. Includes wooden display case with cleaning tools, a package of five Wilson Combat full moon clips and six half moon clips, and the shipping box with label numbered to the gun.

Near new, shows some minor handling and a light turn line on the cylinder. The grips are excellent. The display box is excellent with a few light scratches, the felt covered plastic interior shows some wear with holes in the areas where the front and rear sights lay.

Manufactured circa 1969-1991, with the three screw N frame. This revolver features a ramped front sight with red insert and adjustable target rear sight with white outline, standard barrel markings, casehardened serrated target trigger and checkered target hammer, pinned barrel and recessed cylinder and is fitted with checkered grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes the wooden display case with papers, cleaning tools and the cardboard shipping box with a label numbered to the gun.

Near new, shows some very minor handling with light scratches and a faint turn line on the cylinder. The grips and display case are excellent, the plastic felt covered display case interior has wear to the felt where the front and rear sight lay.
