Description:

Manufactured in 1930. The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address/1903 and 1918 patent dates, the left side of the frame is marked "THE WOODSMAN", the left side of the slide "COLT AUTOMATIC/CAL..22 LONG RIFLE" followed by the Rampant Colt. The serial number is marked on the front strap and the upper left front of the trigger guard is marked with the number "1" over the Colt "VP" triangle proof. Elevation adjustable gold bead front blade and windage adjustable rear sights, smooth trigger, checkered oval panel on the back strap, two tone Colt marked magazine and fitted with checkered walnut grips

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The pistol retains 97% plus original blue finish with some muzzle wear and thinning on the barrel, some high edge wear, a small amount of minor pitting developing on the front strap and a small amount of light spotting on the right side of the slide. The grips are also excellent with very crisp checkering. The markings are clear and crisp. Mechanically excellent.
