Manufactured in 1954. The left side of the barrel is marked with the one line address, The Rampant Colt over "WOODSMAN" on left side of the frame, serial number on the opposite and "COLT" followed by the two line caliber marking on left side of the slide. Ramped front blade and adjustable rear target sights, serrated trigger, blue Colt marked magazine, push button magazine release, and fitted with checkered plastic grips with right hand thumb rest and the Rampant Colt molded at the top of the right panel. Comes with a correct Colt "woodgrain" hinged lid box with two grip adaptors, extra magazine, bore brush, an extra used sear, original test target and instruction manual.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% original blue finish with some muzzle wear and a small area of minor thinning on the right side of the barrel and a few light scuffs on the matte finished surfaces. The grips are a bit loose and remain very good with a few dings on the bottom left panel, "CAL" scratched into the bottom of the right panel, a few minor handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with some minor corner and edge wear.
