Manufactured in 1954. Standard markings, ramped blade front and adjustable rear target sights, serrated trigger and grip straps with back strap adaptor, blue Colt marked magazine and checkered grips with right hand thumb rest and the Rampant Colt molded at the top of the right panel. With an original Colt "wood grain" hinged lid box, with Sports Model end label and manual.

Excellent. The pistol retains 99% plus original blue finish with some very mild edge wear and a few light scratches and scuffs on the matte finished surfaces. The grips are also excellent with a few minor dings on the edge of the thumb rest, light handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent.
