The Pre-Woodsman Model was manufactured from 1915 to 1927 and prior to the "Woodsman" name. This particular pistol was manufactured in 1925. Standard markings with elevation adjustable front and windage adjustable rear sights. It has the correct checkered oval panel on the mainspring housing which is characteristic of the Pre-Woodsman models designed for standard velocity 22 LR ammunition. Smooth trigger, blue Colt marked magazine and checkered grips.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some minor muzzle and high edge wear, a small area of minor spotting on the top of the slide and a few small minor scratches. The grips are also excellent with a couple minor dings and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.

As "A" manufactured in 1924.

Fine. The pistol retains 60% original blue finish with some muzzle and high edge wear, some scattered thinning and a smooth gray patina on the grip straps, with traces of thin original blue finish. The side plate is replaced. The grips are very good with some minor wear and a couple of minor bruises in the otherwise crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
