REMINGTON & SONS, ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A./NEW MODEL" and "FB-210" is painted on the butt (likely a museum or previous private collection number). Matching serial number on barrel, both grips and frame, with "345" marked ahead of the loading lever catch. Fitted with smooth varnished grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. Overall the revolver retains 40% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The cylinder retains 70% blue. The trigger guard retains nearly half of the original silver plating. The grips are very fine with a missing worn chip on the right panel and some minor handling marks. Mechanically fine.
