The majority (10) of the ribbons in this lot are for the post-Civil War reunions of the Army of the Tennessee, a Union army active in the Western Theater under the command of Generals Grant and Sherman, which participated in many critical battles in that region, including the Battle of Shiloh and the March to the Sea. This includes ribbons for the 14th, 16th, 17th (x3), 18th (x2), 19th and 21st annual reunions, as well as a ribbon for the Executive Committee. Also included are two ribbons for the 1885 reunion of Crocker's Iowa Brigade (11th and 13th Iowa) and a ribbon for the 14th Reunion of the Army of the Cumberland (1882).
