Description:

1) Tiffany Model 1840 Sabre, 36 inch double fuller blade, with a flat spine, the two-line New York address on the right ricasso and "P.D.L" in an oval on the left. Steel hilt with a two branch guard, helmet style pommel and wire and leather wrapped wood grip. Iron scabbard with hanging rings and drag. 2) Tiffany sabre, 35 3/4 inch single fuller blade with "TIFFANY & Co" on the left ricasso. Iron hilt, with a wire wrapped leather grip, and an iron scabbard with hanging rings.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine, showing mild spotting on the blade, a mixed gray patina on the hilt and scabbard, and some material loss on the grip. 2) Very good, with some minor pitting and edge dings on the blade, a dark mixed gray color to the hilt and scabbard, and minimal wear on the leather.
