The front grip strap of this pistol is marked with the initials "R.J." and it is theorized that this stands for the Reich ministry of Justice. The pistol has standard Walther slide markings, with commercial "crown/N" proofs on the right side of the slide, chamber, and barrel. The grips are checkered and feature the Walther banner at the top.

Excellent. The pistol retains 95% original blue finish with some minor edge wear and scratches, some minor thinning on the front grip strap, and a smooth gray patina on the back strap. There is some scattered minor pitting and the area in front of the ejection port has been cleaned and now has a smooth gray patina. Grips are very good with a cracked left panel and some minor handling marks. The checkering is crisp overall.
