Manufactured by the Berlin-Lubecker manufacturing company. The left side of the rough forged receiver is marked with the "serial number followed by "G43 duv44" along with firing and 214 proofs. It has a sheet metal bolt cover, scope mounting rail on the right side and a bolt carrier numbered to the gun and with a 214 proof. Laminated stock numbered to the gun and synthetic upper handguard with faint Nazi acceptance marks on the stock.

Excellent. The rifle retains 90% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. There is minor spotting on the trigger guard. The handguard is very fine with a number of minor handling marks. The stock is excellent with a few minor pressure dents, a long gouge near the stock toe and a deep dent on the forearm (right side). Mechanically excellent.
