Description:

Two nearly identical Redwing style heavy ceramic jugs, marked on the tops with "5" in a cobalt blue color and in a black color shield style marking "FROM/THE MASON HOUSE /AND/MINERAL SPRINGS,/COLFAX/IOWA.". Finished is a smooth gloss glaze, one jug still has the cork cap in place. Both measure 17 1/4 inches high with an approximate diameter of 12 inches.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, both having a few small chips along the outer edge of the bottoms.
