Manufactured in 1961, the 125th Anniversary of Colt Patent Firearms Co. One line address on top of the barrel, the left side marked "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45". The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent date marking followed by the un-circled Rampant Colt. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof, the rear is marked "J" and the right front is marked with a "5". The serial numbers on the frame and under the grip on the left side of the front and back straps all match. The frame is casehardened and remaining parts are blue with polished hammer sides. The revolver is fitted with checkered hard black rubber grips with Rampant Colt in an oval. Complete with the original black hinged lid box numbered to the gun, bore brush, original waxed paper, Colt 125th Anniversary medallion, and papers.

Excellent with 98% plus original blue finish with an isolated very small patch surface scratches on the left side of the barrel. The frame retains virtually all the original bright and vivid case colors. Grips are near new with only slight handling marks and sharp checkering. Box is excellent.
