Manufactured in 1908 and subsequently professionally engraved custom by Bernie Wolf of El Paso, Texas. The revolver features floral scroll and punch dot engraving on the barrel, frame, cylinder flats and back strap, decorative zigzag and dot design on the upper ejector housing and around the rear of the cylinder, a star burst design on the trigger guard and a shell pattern on the recoil shield and loading gate. The bottom of the front strap is signed "Wolfe". The top of the barrel is marked with the two line address in a scallop bordered panel, "45 COLT" on the left side in a banner and the left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three patent dates, also in a banner followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap (re-numbered). Standard blade front, frame notch rear sights, all nickel finish and fitted with two-piece ivory grips with a relief carved steer head on the right panel. Complete with an unmarked Colt Heritage maroon box.

Very fine as custom embellished with 99% plus nickel finish remaining, with a small amount of pin prick type pitting under the finish on the barrel, otherwise only light handling/storage marks. The grips are near mint with a very attractive darkening of the grain. The markings and engraving are crisp. The action is excellent.
