The left side of the forged receiver is marked with a small "eagle/359" proof next to "K43" and "ac/45". These late war rifles have the rough cast Type Three receiver with the single bolt guides, rough cast bolt cover with the cocking knob on the left side with the bolt hold open lock on the right side with the reinforcing web on top. Mismatched bolt carrier (2337/bT). It is fitted with the correct stamped sheet metal action cover with the sliding dust cover. This rifle has a late war all laminated stock and handguard with a single "Eagle/359" inspection stamp on the left side and a single small Waffenamt proof in the pistol grip. The "ddx" coded ZF4 scope has the number "60085" with the mount having the number "8074". The scope has a reproduction rubber eyepiece and leather lens cap. Comes with an "aye" magazine and leather sling.

Very fine as assembled. The rifle retains 98% original phosphate and 90% faded original blue finish. The stock and handguard are both excellent with a few minor handling marks and a hairline crack in the grip area. The scope has slightly hazy optics.
