The receiver has the "U.S." and an ordnance bomb stamping followed by "MILITARY FINISH" on the left side near the breech with the standard Remington marking over the serial number in the center at the bottom. The top of the barrel is marked "REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION NY. MADE IN U.S.A." over the Browning patent markings and numbers followed by "U.S. ordnance bomb". The left side of the barrel is marked "12GA FOR 2-3/4 OR SHORTER SHELLS" along with "CYL AM [anchor]". Smooth pistol grip stock and finger groove forearm with a cross cannon ordnance cartouche and "FJA" on buttstock and a hard plastic Remington buttplate. Length of pull is 14 inches.

Excellent. The shotgun retains 95% plus original blue finish showing some minor thinning and some very scattered patches of minor spotting. The wood is also excellent with a few very scattered minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
