The rifle has a Springfield "3-66" 308 caliber barrel with a Springfield bolt. The rear receiver has standard markings with a hand marked "7.62" (308 caliber) on top of the chamber. Rear sight drum marked "BME". The stock has a DOD cartouche stamped on the left side ahead of the wrist, a circled "P" on the grip, and a checkered buttplate. Included with this rifle is a canvas sling, an UC bayonet with scabbard and M1 Garand data sheet.

Near mint as arsenal refurbished/converted. The rifle retains 99% of the parkerized finish with some minor edge wear. The stock is excellent with a few barely noticeable handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
