Description:

Brass blade and notch sights with the zigzag flanked "P" on the left side of the breech and the "DERINGER/PHILADELA" address on the breech and lock plate. German silver fitting, with scroll and zigzag pattern engraving. Checkered stock, with Schnabel tip and a bird's-head butt.

Rating Definition:

About good, with a mixed gray and brown patina overall, along with scattered mild pitting and handling marks. Some dents are visible on the fittings. Stock is good, with replaced wood and some visible cracks and dents. Mechanically fine.
