Manufactured circa 1861 to 1862 and circa 1868 to 1873 with a total production estimated at only 8,000. The rare factory scroll and punch dot engraving is featured on the rear and front portion of the barrel sides. The cylinder has a roll engraved scene. The one line address is marked on top of the rib. Matching numbers on the barrel, cylinder, frame under the grips, and on the inside of one of the grip panels. Fitted with smooth fancy rosewood grips with flared butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good. Almost all of the blue and silver finishes remain, showing some finished over pin prick pitting on the barrel and some minor edge wear on the frame. Strong bright case colors remain on the hammer sides and trigger face. The grips are excellent showing a couple of minor nicks and slight handling marks. The engraving and markings are clear and crisp. The action is fine.
