Manufactured in Japan. Browning manufactured 3,000 Model 71 rifles in 1986 and 1987. Hooded front and adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sights. Standard barrel address and markings. The receiver is a coin finish with fine scroll and border engraving on the sides. In addition, the right side has a forest scene with a gold running deer, on the left is a larger scene with two bugling bull elk in gold. The trigger is gold washed, the bolt assembly and hammer are blued. Mounted with a checkered fancy forearm and pistol grip stock with a checkered buttplate. Complete with original box numbered to the gun and manual.

Near new with only the slightest handling/storage marks. Box is excellent.
