The top of the barrel rib is marked "-HOPKINS & ALLEN MFG. CO./NORWICH CONN. U.S.A. PAT. JAN. 5 OCT. 5 86" and the serial number is marked on the butt. The matching assembly number "5742" is marked on the left heel under the grip, rear cylinder face, extractor and barrel latch. All nickel finish with casehardened hammer, trigger and barrel latch, blade front and notch rear sights, folding hammer and fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with checkerboard at the top. Comes with an original two-piece black box with light blue lid label which reads "Hopkins & Allen Mfg. Co.,/Automatic Revolver/32 CAL./Central Fire, Double Action", lid side label reading "FOLDING HAMMER" and the box end label identical to the lid label.

Excellent. The revolver retains 98% original nickel finish which is beginning to frost in areas. The grips are also excellent with only slight handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are crisp and clear. The action is fine. The box is very fine with some edge and corner wear.
