The lock retains 40% muted original case colors with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The hammer has a smooth mottled gray and brown patina. The lever and breechblock retain 90% of the original bright blue finish with a smooth plum patina on the balance. The wood is fine with an old filled repair on the forearm, a small gouge just ahead of the buttplate tang and a few minor handling marks. The cartouches are crisp and clear. Mechanically excellent.
