The left side of the frame is marked with the one line address and the right side has the one line patent date. The inspector letter "M" is marked on most major components. The matching serial number is marked on the front of the frame, bottom of the barrel, on the cylinder and in the hammer cut out. Dovetailed blade front and hammer notch rear sights, blue finish with casehardened hammer and loading lever, and fitted with a smooth one-piece walnut grip with a visible cartouche on the lower right and left sides.

Rating Definition:

Very fine. The revolver retains 80% plus original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. The hammer and loading lever retain 50% original case colors. The grip is also very fine with a minor notch near the bottom and some very scattered minor handling marks. The cartouches are legible. Mechanically fine.
