Description:

Manufactured from 1863 to 1875. The top barrel flat has the two line patent/address marking above "NEW MODEL". There are single letter inspector marks on most of the components. These letters include "P", "W" and "G". The barrel and grips are numbered to the gun. The left grip panel is stamped with a script letter box cartouche and the bottoms of both grips are stamped with a small letter "J".

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. The revolver retains 25% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina showing minor spotting (mostly on the barrel). The grip is very fine with a few minor handling marks and a clear cartouche. Action needs work as cylinder does not rotate properly when action is cycled.
