Description:

Measuring 10 3/4 inches when open, this knife is outfitted with a thick 4 1/4 inch clip point blade and a thin 2 1/4 inch drop point blade, both marked "S.C. WRAGG/SHEAF ISLAND/WORKS/SHEFFIELD" on the left side of the ricasso. Steel and brass construction frame, with German silver accents at the front, stag grips with an inscription panel on the left grip, and coffin-style pommel panels, each showing a scene of a pelican feeding it's young in a nest with 7 stars overhead. Similar imagery can be found on the Seal of Louisiana, suggesting production for the American South.

Rating Definition:

Good overall. The blades show a dark patina with some mild pitting and handling marks. The frame is very good with some dents and scuffs on the metal and light handling marks on the grips.
