When open, the knife measures 13 3/4 inches long, with a 6 1/4 inch long single edged spear point blade, secured with a spine lock that is contoured in a half-hexagonal profile with a curved thumb-button on the back of the grip. The guard and pommel are finished in German silver, with grotesque face designs on the pommel and martial designs on the guard, including cannon shaped quillions. Grips are mother of pearl with gilt filed carved floral patterns around the screws.

Fine. The blade shows a mixed gray patina with mild spotting. A few small sections of plating are absent from the hilt, with a few small chips of the otherwise fine grips.
