Description:

Circa 1620-1630. Measuring 45 inches overall, with a 39 inch lozenge section blade, marked "TOMAS EAIALA" in the fullers. Iron hilt, with pierced-through designs on the shell guards, "S" profile crossguard with turned leaf-shaped quillions, spiral ribbed wire wrapped grip, and a four-lobed pommel with light leaf shaped engraving. Rating Definition:

Fair. Scattered pitting overall, with a mixed gray patina and mild handling marks. A mended crack is visible in one of the guard arms, and a few small chips of metal are absent from the guard and pommel. Blade is likely a period replacement and handle is a replacement.
