Description:

All swords in this lot are equipped with straight double edged blades, smooth cups, straight crossguards, single bar knuckleguards and a ball pommel. 1) Metal-hilted rapier, 45 inches overall with a 39 inch diamond cross-section blade, 8 inch crossguard, and a smooth flat-sided metal grip. 2) Spanish-style rapier, 43 inches overall, with a 38 1/2 single fuller, lozenge cross section, "TOLEDO" marked blade, curving support arms for the cup, 11 inch crossguard and a checkered hardwood grip. 3) Rapier, 41 1/4 inches overall with a 36 1/4 inch, single fuller, lozenge cross-section blade, an upturned edge to the cup, 11 inch crossguard and a smooth hardwood grip. Rating Definition:

1) Good, with a mixed gray patina, welded repairs on the guard, and a loose grip. 2) Fair, with mild pitting and edge dings, a mixed brown and gray patina overall, loose hilt and scattered handling marks. 3) Fair, with pitting on the blade, bends dents and cracks in the cup, and cracks in the grip.
